After having a particularly unpleasant shave with their lowest-calibre disposable razor, I swore I would never again use a Bic razor product. However, I can say with all honesty that Bic makes a decent, affordable DE razor blade (I lied about my promise, haha)!

Great with Slant
Used these with a muhle 89l and wasn't that impressed. Later, I tried them with my new merkur slant and they are fantastic. Best shave I have had in six months of DE shaving.

Unremarkable
I received the blades as part of the large sampler pack through West Coast Shaving and just used them tonight. I have had great shaves from the blades that I have tried but not these. Very uncomfortable and unpleasant shave. Bic should stick to lighters!

BIC razor blades
THE BLADE IS PASSABLE, BUT NOT GREAT. I DID NOT EXPERIENCE ANY NICKS OR CUTS, BUT IT DOES NOT PRODUCE A CLOSE SHAVE. THE BLADE FEELS LIKE IT HAS DULL SPOTS. IT DOES NOT COME UP TO THE STANDARD OF THE MEKUR, SHARP OR DERBY BLADES.

Not for me
BIC Chrome Platinum: These blades are made in Greece for this French company. They are packed in the pasteboard box with the dispensing cutout on the back. I found they shaved like a typical BIC product. The shave was fairly close, but not very comfortable and the blade pulled and tugged so much I had to be especially careful to not nick myself. These are not a good choice for me and the way I shave,.
