smells like dish soap
produces a very sudsy lather, smells like dish soap, and dries out fast on the brush.

Fair performer
As others have said, I had to imagine the lime scent. It just wasn't there. I did get a very slick, but not very stable lather. It might have been my technique, as I didn't like the smell so didn't work very hard at it. It worked best when paired with a cream for superlather. It added plenty of slick but did not interfere with the cream's scent.

Smells llike dish soap....
It smells like dish soap.... disappointingly. Almond and Bayrum are definitely the way to go.

Doesn't smell like Lime
I was so disappointed when I got this soap in the mail. First off it smells like dish soap not lime. Then it performs about the same as the Van der Hagen glycerin soap. Save yourself $2 and go to your local drug store and pick up a puck of VDH. And if you want the scent of lime get a lime aftershave.

Smells like dish soap
The title pretty much says it all. This shaving soap smells like dish soap. I haven't used other brands of shaving soap, so I can't comment on its relative effectiveness, but it works reasonably well when I get a lather of good consistency.
