Great blade for a great price!
I purchased a sample pack and a couple of friends gave some blades. I tried Derby, Feather, Persona red and blue, Wilkonson, and Merkur blades, but none of them shaves as close and as smooth as the Crystal blades. You cannot not beat the quality and the price of these blades. Definitely the best bang for your buck. Must try!

Crystal blades
I have used about every blade there is, and these are the only ones that can cut the closest. My facial hair grows very fast and thick, so I shave in the shower after I bathe, using hot hot water. These blades give me the closest shave with the most forgiveness of any blade I have tried. Some blades in a pack last 3 to 4 days, and occasionally I get a blade that has lasted up to 8 days, before changing. I highly recommend these.

Great blade, but excessive packaging
Reference: Merkur 34C "HD" on moderately heavy beard - At $12/100, these blades are a fabulous deal. The bubble-pack card and the plastic dispenser are unnecessary waste. In terms of shaving, these are at least the equal of the famous Red Pack Personnas, if not slightly better. In this moderately aggressive razor, both blades are smooth, nick-free, and close. I'd choose either if I could have only one blade for the rest of my life.
