Great blades
These work great for me in a Merkur HD and EJ DE89. Highly recommended.

Easy to use blade
Some people don't like Derby's, but I think they're a great blade for the money. Not the sharpest, but yet I don't get the pulling like with other blades. It may take 1 or 2 more passes with these than say a Feather, but I can still get a great shave. I think the Derby's are also more forgiving if you use a more aggressive razor or get a bit sloppy with technique.

Came with my EJ89.
I just started DE shaving for the first time recently and picked up a pack of these as well as a pack of Astra. I know that the Astra's a bit sharp for a beginner according to some, but I switched to it almost right away to give it a try because these Derby blades just weren't giving me a close shave even after 4-5 passes. I have no desire to switch back. In fewer passes I get a closer shave with the Astra. Maybe I'm an oddball, but my thick black beard just doesn't want to work with the Derbys. I also get nicked more often with them.

Didn't work for me
Couldn't get this brand to work for me. Came in a sampler pack that I ordered. I would only use it if I had no other options.

Good blade
These blades are not the sharpest offered by WCS, but they are still plenty sharp! They give a good shave and seem to last longer than the sharper blades. They make a great "everyday" blade.
