Great stand
I have just started out DE shaving and bought a very, very low cost boar brush (Herban Cowboy) to test the waters with. Based on comments on boar brushes in general, I haven't experienced any bad smells, shedding or having the plug come undone. The only issue I have is that it takes more than one day to dry out. My solution was to buy this stand (fits perfectly) and a second brush so I can alternate.
