Description

The fantastic Edwin Jagger DE razors are based on the latest head design. Refined and exquisitely finished, these razors look as great as they perform. The handle is lined chrome plated and gives the razor great balance and lets the weight of the head do all the work. A three piece traditional razor which works with all double edge razor blades. Packaged in a handsome presentation box.

	This razor delivers a superb shave and is a beauty to behold, the chrome is flawless. The handle feels good in my hand and the weight and balance are just right. As long as I don't have any soap on my hand it's not the least bit slippery and is very easy to control. This is my first DE razor and I've been kicking myself in the butt for the past few weeks that it took me this long to try one. With a hot steamy shower to soften my beard and a good soap I'm getting the most comfortable, smoothest, and closest shaves of my life. I can get through most shaves with no nicks or irritation, something unheard of with a disposable. This razor comes with 5 Derby blades that are probably a great choice for a first timer like myself as they deliver an incredibly smooth shave and are very forgiving in this razor. They are however at the bottom of the list of blades I have so far tried in sharpness. Just make sure to get a blade sampler pack to go along with this and I'm sure you will find more than one that agrees with your face. BTW...Shipping was super fast and the packaging is what you would expect from a quality site.

	Fantastic!
	The moment you take this from it's box and look it over, you realize how fantastic and smoothly everything fits and looks. Pair this Edwin Jagger with a sharper blade from your arsenal and you're rocking a beard busting machine! Easy to clean 3 piece design, great weight and balance, feels comfortable in hand and super smooth on face.

	Edwin Jagger DE89L is a fantastic safety razor for those with a thick beard. It does the job perfectly. I forgot how it is to have a smooth face before using EJ. I use it along with Gillette Stainless Red blades and Palmolive Shaving Cream for now. Works best with sharper blades.

	Stunning!
	I'm 37 and just joined the DE scene Nov. 2012. I bought a Merkur 38c from some other company (before I discovered this site)and they sent it in a bubble wrap envelope. The box was jacked, but the razor was fine. However, when I received my EJ DE89L from West Coast, the packaging and razor was mint. This razor's finish blew my Merkur out of the water and price was $14 less. The one and only other razor I've ever shaved with was my Gillette Atra, starting when I was 14. I decided it was time to retire that relic. I wanted to go green, which lead me to the double edge. My first few shaves with the DE was a bit long and frustrating, but that was simply my newbie technique. I highly recommend watching as many tutorials on youtube as you can stand before going into any new shaving genre. I was able to adjust my technique quickly based on what I had learned online, therefor speeding up the hands-on learning curve. The weight of my EJ was reminiscent to the feel of my old Atra, which made for an easier transition I believe. Now that I have my technique down, I would never go back to cartridge systems again. I've been happy with a variety of blades in this razor. I just wish the top brand blades would stop with the plastic dispensers.

	Awesome Razor!!
	First shave with my new DE89L and it was great. No nicks, cuts or razor burn. This is an awesome razor! West Coast Shaving is a really good merchant. Ordered my razor online and recieved it via USPS quickly.
