Superb Value - Easy to Lather and Great Moisturizing!
This cream is excellent. I use Proraso, Musgo Real, Trumpers, and Castle Forbes products and this is by far the easiest cream to work with. I've used it with a bowl but really, it is much easier to just face lather using a squiggle on your wet brush similar to what you would use with toothpaste on a toothbrush. Then, add water to your brush, as required, to slowly build a wonderful, thick and cushiony lather on your face. The smell of this cream is quite subtle. I also experience a slight cooling affect on my face - sort of a diluted menthol feeling. Highly recommended for newbies and old masters alike - wonderful!

Really Nice
I tried this in a lathering bowl because going back to 1970, these paste products gave me problems. Immediately, the lather just popped and there is a very clean aromatic scent that increases. Using a Best Badger brush, gave me absolutely zero problem. It gets slick and a thickness is created. Definitely worth every penny! My straight razor finished in 12000 hone literally was gliding and the shave close. Cleanup was with hot steamy water on the lathering bowl and brush as the lather would not quit producing rich lather. This is a highly underrated product or one of the best finds to be had.

Another "must have" cream for your shave den
I have heard that the scent of the Erasmic was heavenly, and sure enough it is. I wish that Erasmic would produce an aftershave splash with the same scent. The reviewers that could not build a good lather must be new to wet shaving, as this produced a very thick yogurt consistency lather with virtually no effort.

Great lather
I'm a new DE shaver and was looking for an affordable shaving cream that had a classic scent and made a good lather. This cream is just that. The scent is very classic, the lather is great (with an amount the size of a dime and the right amount of water, I'm able to make a nice rich lather).

New formulation---Horrid
I have purchased this several times, and have always gotten the older formula...red cap, metal tube, coconut oil...my last order new formula is the worst. Unfortunatly this is too cheap to send back and I tried some out of 1 tube.....So I am stuck with shave that won't build lather and does not work. On top of that Erasmic changed the scent---everything about this good product has been changed. Don't waste your money!
