Precision blades
These blades are a precision work of art. I have sensitive skin so I only use these for special occasions or when I am craving a BBS shave. I highly recommend these blades for anyone looking for ultra sharp blades.

Great Blade
If you are cutting yourself with this blade it's a technique issue not a blade issue.I think the same goes for most of the sharper blades. This blade is sharp, smooth and of very high quality. I've found them to be very consistent from one blade to another. I got scared off originally because of some reviews but after I tried them for myself I was very happy with them. This is a really good blade for people with a thick or course beard.

Great shave, but not worth it
These were the last I tried of my sample pack. They're so sharp, I barely felt the blade as it cut through my beard. So close, I almost didn't even need a second pass in places. Notwithstanding those benefits, I continued to get a couple of nicks every time I used these, no matter how careful I was. If I would ever be in a hurry, I can't imagine what my face would have looked like. The great shave notwithstanding, I'm done with these as the nicks and cuts aren't worth suffering through.

The Fiddleman
The first time I used these I cut so deep it left a scar. However, never felt the cut they are so sharp! The trick is to have enough "water" and the correct amount of "lather" to achieve the proper lubrication. I have used this with the English, Italian and U.S. made shave creams and get excellent results from all using Feathers!

They grow on you...
I am ordering my first batch of Feathers. I have been scrounging pharmacies for DE blades for a couple years; since I got pissed with trying to shave with disposables. I am using my first purchase, a Gillette Silo-top from 45+ years ago. Tried a DE Sample Pack from West Coast and I followed the sharpness rating on Shaving101 site. Everything pretty much fell into place regarding sharpness--my reaction to tugging, nicks, burns, repeated wacks to get rid of stubble. A couple brands were disgusting, and I terminated the test during the first session; probably the one described above. Anyway, Feather was scary sharp. I had to be careful when using it the first few times. It isn't perfect, but far better than the 5, or so, other brands I tried. I think I got 7 shaves on the second blade. Feather is pricey, compared, but feeling baby-soft for the first time in several decades is worth it.
