These are much better than Derby blades, and perhaps a tad bit better than Personna Reds. I'd compare them to Astra on a scale of sharpness.
Definitely, definitely, buy these blades. You won't be disappointed. These will be my blades of choice when I travel for now on.

First of all I haven't been in the DE world long but I've tried 4 blades so far.I read some reviews that these were smooth and very sharp blades. My face must have not got the message cause these blades ate me up.I have had NO bumps and NO razor burn since I started after these blades I'm on a shave break for face repair.Maybe these will work for you but I'll stick to my Astra SP. |

I used these with my Edwin Jagger razor. I would have rather removed the hair from my face with 60 grit sandpaper and used straight alcohol as an aftershave. For the amount of razor burn that I have I was expecting an extremely close shave...but that didn't happen. I didn't get any cuts or nicks but razor burn was horrendous |

Gillette 7 O’clock Sharp Edge (Yellow Pack)(Dubai): These are made in Russia for Gillette. These are amazing blades producing a very close, comfortable shave. Little pulling tugs or nicks. They do require a very precise technique to avoid cuts and nicks. These blades should yield 8 or so quality shaves. |

Gillette 7 O'Clock blades are smoother and sharper than Merkur or Derby. I was very pleased with the shave. The second and third shaves were definitely better than the first, but that is to be expected with any DE blade. No cuts or skin irritation - very sharp. |
