Description

We have commissioned a potter to create these beautiful custom shaving bowls. Each bowl is hand thrown on a potters wheel to our specifications. The top diameter is approximately 4.25" and the height is approximately 1.25", perfect for whipping up a luxurious lather. The bowls are finished in a smooth, water proof glaze. The bottom surface of the bowls is unfinished. Each bowl is unique and may vary in dimensions and finish slightly.

I just received this bowl today and right from first sight it exceeded my expectations. Aesthetically pleasing, I'm certainly taking pride in the fact that MY bowl is one of a kind due to the fact that it's hand thrown. The design is beautiful in every way, fits my hand perfectly and of course it builds lather exceptionally well. I would, without hesitation, highly recommend it and for the price that it's offered it's nothing short of a steal!!

Beautiful bowl, ideal proportions
I received the bowl today and used it right away. I love the size and depth. It fits easily in my hand but is large enough to really whip the lather. The finish is smooth but not so glossy it's slippery. The muted color and subtle glaze details are just stunning. I salute the artisan's craftsmanship!

Quality Item
This bowl is a quality item. I like the roughness which helps lather production. Also, the rounded internal sides act like a reservoir for the lather as it is being created. When I bought it I wasn't sure if I really needed a special bowl but now that I have it I really like it.
