Wet Shaving, Luxury Grooming and Smiles

Kent shaving brushes are pure luxury and it is hard to put into words unless you have used one. They feel different than any other brush as they swallow your face in glorious, silky softness, especially the size 12's. They are top quality from the bottom of the handle to the tips of the bristles. Ideal for soaps and creams, but particularly wonderful for creams. They retain a lot of water and develop a beautiful lather every time when combined with other great shaving products!

Kent H8
Great look, soft yet firm enough to whip up a thick rich paint, short break in time, maybe 4 or 5 hairs lost during a years use .

Great brush, No regrets after 2 years use
Bought this brush over 2 years ago as a splurge to replace a well used inexpensive brush. Never regretted the purchase, I use creams but have a few soaps too and this brush handles them all. Builds a good lather, great on my face and it's holding up well. Still looks and feels like a perfect new brush. Can't go wrong with this one, I'd buy it again.

Highest quality brush making lather in my Kent mug in seconds, worth the price no discussion, good investment for many years or decades.

What a brush!
I did a lot of research before splurging on a silver tip. And having recently purchased Kent combs and brushes, I felt really good about choosing the Kent BLK8. The density is excellent. The bristles are like a pillow on my face. Probably a little less stiff than is ideal for soaps, but I'm a cream man so no issues there. The handle is a good size and fits well in my hand. Overall, the fit and finish are on par with what a high-end shaving brush should be. I was tempted to go with the BLK12, but I'm glad I didn't (there's always next time, lol). The BLK8 is a plenty large brush and can hold a ton of water and lather. Whipping the cream takes a little more time, product and water but once you're there the retention is excellent and oh baby, does putting the lather on my face feel good. I forward to waking up to this beauty for many years. Easily a 5-star shaving brush.

An Excellent Brush
I have had a very cheap brush for years now and my wife picked up a nice pure badger brush about six months ago. I was impressed, so I plotted to upgrade. based on the other two reviews, I settled on the BLK8. Wow, just wow. This brush handles up on shave soap like a boss. Excellent quality, so very soft, and my wife's only comment was "I never should have touched it". Spend the money, it's worth it.
