Impressive!
I received my Merkur 23c quickly after ordering. I had magnificent results the first use! I have a light beard, so I was a little concerned about cuts, but it was very forgiving. The shave was close and smooth. I'm glad I bought the long handle. I had no problems with it. The blade went in square to all sides and the razor has a solid heft to it (knurling makes for a good grip). A great razor, well made, great price, and great service. For my first (probably only) DE razor, I am very pleased.

good simple razor
Solid feel and good quality. The blade lines up square. Three piece design is solid but time consuming to change blades. A seems a bit too agressive to learn with. Not very forgiving with bad technique. Agressiveness resolved by using Dorco st-300 blades or maybe other less ninja sharp slicers.

A Truly Great Razor
This was my first safety razor and I could not be more pleased. The weight, long handle, feel, solid construction and overall quality make this a razor that should last for years. An excellent product.
