The Merkur Classic Safety Razor is a chrome finished 3-piece double edge razor. The comfortable handle is approximately 3" long and is designed with a non-slip grip. This razor uses double edge blades for a close and comfortable shave. Replacement blades are available.

My first DE
Love it. Looking for a new one to try, but for a starter DE razor - there is no comparison. Solid 3-piece. Beautiful easy-to-clean finish. So easy to use. Can't wait to try another Merkur!

My First Double Edge Razor
I bought the Merkur 33C Classic and like it. It is a solid 3 parts razor that feels balanced in the hand.

Great razor
This was the first one blade razor I ever used. And I was positively surprised. The razor is heavy enough so, that one doesn't have to push it against the skin at all. Easy to use, non-slip handle provides a good grip. My recommendations.

Good first safety razor.
This was my first safety razor and I'd really enjoyed it, though next time I think I'll look at one with a longer handle as a matter of preference.
