Description

The Merkur Heavy Duty Safety Razor is a chrome finished 2-piece double edge razor. The comfortable handle is approximately 3" long and is designed with a thicker non-slip grip. The bar on this razor is slanted to provide a more aggressive shave. This razor uses double edge blades for a close and comfortable shave. Replacement blades are available.

Made in Germany.

New favorite razor
Don't be scared by the reviews that say this razor is "aggressive." It's replaced my EJ89 as my go-to razor. If you're looking for a second razor, definite give this or the 39C a try. I highly recommend it!

Merkur 37C
this safety razor is awesome! i had $20 feather safety razor, didn't know if i should upgrade or not. at first i thought it was a complete waste of money as i did grafted my skin a bit, but within 3-4 days i learned how to use it safely and now i get the closest shave ever without any scratches. this razor is very well worth it!

Great razor, excellent service!
This razor cemented my commitment to DE shaving. Despite the tales of gore I read of this razor, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! After two weeks of use, I've had one nick and one case of mild razor burn, both within the first couple days. It demands respect, but the results are like no other I've used. It's my go-to DE. And thanks, WCS, for another excellent customer experience!

The Unstoppable Razor
What a great razor! My Merkur HD is a good one too, but it often has trouble with several days of beard growth. This slant bar Merkur razor, though, cuts through two and three day growth like I had just shaved the day before. I'm using Feather blades.

This is a great razor. Gave a very close shave on the first pass. Don't be scared of this razor. If your careful it should give you a great shave.
