Having a bit of style and flare is important to you. Honestly, it's important to most people, although some might not want to admit it. Showing off some of that 'pizzazz' in the little things can be nice, and one of the ways to do that is with this razor. Wait' you're probably wondering what a shaver could possibly have to do with style. Well, look at the photo of the rosegold open comb Muhle R41 Double Edge Safety Razor here. That should answer your questions, since this thing is all about style. It has beautiful rosegold on the handle and some stellar chrome accents.

If rosegold isn't your 'thing' or if you have a decorative design in your bathroom that screams for something else you can't go wrong with one of the other R41's. Check them out. You'll find something that is able to blend form and function just as you need.

Of course, we know it's not all about how something looks. It's more important that it works, and you can be sure that this is a real workhorse. It offers you a traditional close shave and as long as you take good care of it, it will last.

Overall Length: 94 mm

Product Reviews
Great tool
I had not shaved in a week when I received the R41. I immediately worked up some shaving cream and gave this a try with a Feather blade. It worked magnificently. The craftsmanship is superb and the rose gold handle is stunning (the picture does not do it justice). This was definitely a great purchase.
Close Shaver
This razor is the most efficient razor I own. It shaves very well, in most cases a two pass shave is all thats needed. The result is an ultra close shave that lasts considerably longer than shaves with other razors. The R41 is a great razor, well made and has the finish of fine jewelry.

I've never used an "open comb" safety razor.....what do I need to know about this machine to get the best shave?

You do not want to apply pressure. Let the weight of the razor do the work for you and take your time. Do not rush using an open comb razor.

How best to take care of the razor for optimum performance?

The only thing you need to do it clean the razor. I would recommend using an old toothbrush and hot water to scrub the razor and get the soap scum off. You could use soap hot water as well. But I find an occasional cleaning with a brush will do the trick.
