Description
The Parker 82R, redesigned for 2010, with the TTO (twist-to-open) head and knob on the bottom to open the butterfly doors.  The fluted handle provides a solid grip.  This is one of their heavier razors at 3.3 oz.

Beautiful TTO
I was hesitant to buy a Parker after reading a couple bad reviews, but this razor rocks. It's solid and heavy, with a perfect length handle for those used to a "normal" cartridge razor. The TTO mechanism is smooth and holds the blade perfectly. One side of the head is slightly more aggressive than the other. A nice feature for your ATG pass. Overall, a very nice razor. High quality, good weight and a great shave.

A great razor for the money
I wanted a butterfly/twist-to-open razor since the merkur 23c I own was a 3 piece and took more steps and time to change blades. I am the type to over anylize things but I just couldn't find a reason why the parker 82r isn't a great buy for the price. It isn't as agressive as the merkur 23c and I like that because I don't have to have flawless technique at every moment. Three passes in alternate directions gets me a great shave without tons of nicks.
