Description
These Personna blades were designed for barber use and are stainless steel blades with the Comfort-Coated® edge.  They are similar to the Medical Personna blades by American Safety Razor.  The provide a nice smooth shave.

Great blades
These blades are excellent, and the packaging is great as well. Takes up very little room. Made in USA!

Great blades and Made in the USA!!
Like so many of you I tried a sampler pack. Actually, I put together my own sampler, and I was smart enough to include these blades. I cannot fully express how great they are for me. I use them in a Merkur 23C long handle and love them. I have managed to develop a routing to make sure I use both edges and get six or seven days from every blade. Every shave is incredibly smooth. The Crystals give me about five days. I am very, very pleased. And, even more pleased they are made in the USA! It can't get any better than that! If I could rate them higher than five stars, I would.

Criminally cheap for such good blades
Unfortunately for the guys at WCS, I won't be buying more blades any time soon. I just got a box of a hundred lab blues after trying out a couple of the 5-packs, and don't see myself using anything else for a very long time. There's something about these blades that is as close to perfect a fit for my skin and my long-handle Merkur 38C. I don't have the first clue what that would be. They're don't feel like they're quite as sharp as feathers, but for my skin and razor, that might simply mean a bit less lethality. The blues shave very, very smoothly and I don't get nearly the same irritation that I've had in varying degrees from pretty much every other blade. It would be a bit of a shame if they only lasted a single shave, but their results would be worth it (even if they cost far more than they do). However, I typically get four or five shaves out of each one; these cost pennies per shave. I've tried pretty much every other brand out there, and despite being very much unimpressed by the red Personnas, for my combination of face + razor these beat everything else by quite a margin. 5 stars really is a stereotype, but I just can't find any reason to take any points off. 1 down and 99 to go. See you in a couple of years, I guess...

Retired
Finally went back to an antique Gillette adjustable like I used in 1964 when I first started shaving. These blades are much better than I had back then. I have stocked up with 4/100 boxes. I get a full week of shaves, changing blades every Sunday morning like clockwork, and they work fine. The first shave is a little rough. Lightly drawing the edges through a cork stopper once fixes that problem. Enjoy. :)
