Description
Shapton ceramic on glass stones are coveted by straight razor users due to their uniformity and flatness.  They feature the best possible ceramic sharpening compounds bonded to an ultra flat glass substrate.  They are fast cutting and require little maintenance.  Shapton stones only need to be wet with water and do not require soaking like other stones.  They should be flattened prior to use.

These stones work well with stainless steel and carbon steel straight razors.

Shapton stones and the entire Shapton sharpening system are some of the finest on the market and great for both advanced and novice straight razor honing.
