Long Term Performer
Shavemac #25 23mm Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush, Faux Ivory. My Shavemac silvertip is now about 4 years young and still going strong. I use the brush about 4 times a week, mainly puck soap, face lathering, and couldn't be happier. The brush is beautifully made, rarely sheds, and has held it's shape and stiffness over time. I would definitely buy another when the time comes.

Shavemac #177 23mm D01 Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush, Faux Ivory.very nice, but a little too small for my liking, also I would prefer something with even nicer and softer tips But overall a really nice brush for the money

The best brush money can buy...anywhere!
Shavemac #25 23mm Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush, Faux Ebony.Very dense, soft. Makes an amazingly thick lather. (I use Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving cream mostly, but have tried it on other creams and soaps).. Clearly banded fibers.. They do not come out. I have used three other quality badger hair brushes (Art of Shaving, Simpson Commodore, one other). This is my favorite. The Simpson may have an edge with soaps, but for creams this cannot be beat. I do not use preshave oil because I do not want to have to wash it out of my fibers.

Heavy Beard
Shavemac #25 23mm Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush, Faux Ivory. If you buy any shaving brush made of any type of bristle and don't buy a shaving brush stand you are asking for trouble. Contrary to what people think, if you don't use a shaving brush stand the shaving brush will not last 90 days. What happens is the person sets the brush on its heel on the sink and water drains down into the shaving brush knot and it begins to corrupt/rot and destroy the bristles at the knot end of the brush and it time the bristles will fall out! It won't mater who manufactured the brush. Moral: Buy a shaving brush stand and hang the brush properly after shaving and the brush all last for years. The shaving brush stand is Just as important as the brush itself............ Don't shave clean the brush and sit it on its heel on the sink ): as you will be throwing you money away.

Superb Brush
Shavemac #25 23mm Silvertip Badger Shaving Brush, Faux Ivory.I've used the brush for two years now and use it exclusively with creams. It's a luxurious latherer but far from floppy. The dense knot provides plenty of stability, whether you face lather or paint. It has a permanent home in my brush rotation, and I would recommend it without hesitation.
