If you're looking for a sophisticated scent in a shaving cream, this is it. Combining lavender, incense, citrus, tarragon and other scents in to a spicy whole (but never an 'old' smelling blend) this is truly made for the discerning gentleman. Taylor of Old Bond Street Shaving Cream Bowl, Mr. Taylor has all the other benefits of this manufacturer's fine products, as well, which will reveal themselves with the first use.

This product provides incredibly thick lather that gets down deep into the whiskers and makes them ready to be shaved. This means that you don't end up scraping your face, causing abrasions, and rashes and other issues and, of course, you'll appreciate that when you wash up after you're done and don't need to stick little pieces of paper all over your face. Some men have serious issues with this and, if you do, don't let it go. Use good lubricants along with treatments to keep it under control. You'll be glad you did and the results will certainly be noticeable. Remember that you'll want a good brush. We have animal hair and synthetic options available, depending upon your preference.

Product Reviews
Simply great
I have been wet shaving for a few months, and recently got into using a DE. Started with a few other brands and was very pleased. Then one morning I decided to give the Mr. Taylor a try. The first thing I noticed was with very little work and soap, i had an avalanche of Thick fluffy lather. Then when I brushed it on my face, I thought I was in heaven. It has a very luxurious feel to it. The shave was amazing, and my face felt great afterwards. This stuff is in a league of its own.
You can't lose
This cream has a great familiar shaving cream scent that melts away into a masculine mix of cedar and sandalwood. I small dab lasts me enough for at least 3 passes. TOBS would be a good buy even at a higher price, but at $14 you better believe this cream will have a permanent spot in my shaving cream rotation.
Great Scent
I'd say the scent is the best of any shave cream I have ever tried. Probably the best shave cream scent ever invented. Unfortunately, I think that it is not slick enough, so the shave is not as comfortable as with some other brands. So, I end up using it less often than others. But that scent is awesome!
I have tried several of the TOBS creams and the scent of Mr Taylor is by far my favorite. The lather is rich and creamy and doesn't clog up my DE safety razor. A small amount combined with a shave soap is good for 3-4 passes with my razor.
I love all the TOBS creams that I have used. However, my two favorites are Eaton College, and Mr. Taylor. Both have a refined fresh/crisp scent. It's a close race between these two for me. You can't go wrong with either.
Smells great!
I absolutely love how this smells. It's very masculine smelling, it does smell woody with a hint of spice with a note of amber fig at the end. This cream lathers up extremely well, it doesn't take much to get a great lather. The smell lingers after it has been washed off. I really enjoy this because I don't use after shaves or cologne. Definitely worth the money to me. They also use non-animal based glycerin! Which is great!
