WCS has deleted 3 prior reviews I have left but I will continue to leave my missives until they leave one of my reviews. Firstly I am a verified buyer I bought the club razor December 2016 I tried all of the plates on all of the settings, plus I used over 8 different blades, Astra, Personna, Dorco. Wilkinson etc. What is the most surprising is that WCS would even carry this inferior razor. I'm going to rate this much higher stars wise and give it a super value rating in an effort to see if WCS has the cohonjes to leave it on it's review section

Great brush, especially for the price.

I love how it feels on my skin. Very soothing and I like the smell of it too. It is not over powering.

Excellent Blade
3/27/2017
I find Kai blades to be a tad less sharp than Feathers and smoother. As with Feather blades, these are not for the faint of heart and must be respected in their usage. If one has had bad experiences with Feather blades, give Kai a change. Kai gives me two or three shaves whereas Feathers are a once and done blade for me. I use Kai in my German 37 with iKon OSS handle with great results and in my Merker 34C HD with iKon Bulldog handle although I use Feathers as my go to in the 34C.

.Highly recommended for value and performance.

Very Good Blade

Bolzano blades are the right amount of sharp for me, smooth, but not the smoothest I have ever used. I use them in a German 37, similar to the Merker 37C razor. I like that they last beyond 3 shaves on my face (coarse beard, sensitive skin on neck). I purchased these specifically for my slant razors based on reviews and recommendations from various well known shaving forums. These blades are well made, yet perform very close to the Gillette Silver Blue in comparison, so the performance does not equate to the price per package. One demerit for that.

I believe that there is a right blade for every razor and Bolzano will fit a number of razor combinations with a better than average level of comfort. It really depends on one's skin type and the pressure used on the face. These blades do not need a lot of pressure at all to perform well and I have always achieved a BBS shave when using them with minor discomfort.

I would recommend these blades at a lower price point based on Gillette and Personna blade offerings.

Awesome Razor

After converting to DE shaving, I’ve tried a variety of blades and razors. My first razor was the Merkur 34C, followed by the Merkur Futur, Muhle R89 and Edwin Jagger DE8911 and now the Feather AS-D2. Yes, I am a little nutty about my razors but I found my skin was more sensitive than I realized so while I loved the feather blades, I couldn’t use them with the previous razors. Trying a feather with the Muhle R89 was the most scariest experience you can imagine. However, the Feather AS-D2, for me, is the greatest shave I’ve experienced. It tames the feather blade better than any other razor I’ve tried. Coupled with Pre de Province and Taylor of Old Bond Shave Cream, I am loving the experience. Granted this is an expensive razor, but I shave every day and for me the experience is worthy of the cost.

After 50 years of cartridge razors, I decided to try a DE mainly because of the cost of cartridges. I spoke to one of the great customer service people who advised the 34C as a "return" to DE shaving. However, I had my first shave at 13 with a Gillette butterfly razor and a Red Blade (this was before stainless blades), so I figured I could handle a slant. I completed my first shave about a half hour ago, and it's great! I used the Astra blade, and it works well.

Before you use it, view the tutorials on Youtube as well as several web pages in reference to slants. Go slow, go light. I only had a couple minor weepers on my neck, and that was because I wasn't paying attention because I was busy congratulating myself in a while I was doing. Thanks WCS!
