Easy to lather
I don't understand anyone who claims this to be a hard lathering shave soap. Anyone having issues with getting a good lather with this soap, needs their head examined. The key is to bloom the soap (I.e. soak the puck in warm water) for about 5 minutes, prior to working up a lather. Then, lather away. It does take about 30 seconds longer to lather than other soaps but, it does so with ease.

Great Shave and economical!
For years I used the expensive multi-bladed razors and expensive cans of gel shaving cream. Despite 4 or 5 dollars per can the results were OK. I was downgraded in my job and in an effort to save money and get a better shave, I switched to safety razors. I decided to try Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap. Couldn't be happier! I'm saving about $298.03 a year on shaving supplies. Blades are cheaper, but what I really save money on is cream/soap. A refill of Mitchell's lasts me about 10 months. There's less waste compared to metal cans, thereby helping the environment, no less my wallet. Also, being of Northern European descent, I have fair and sensitive skin, yet Mitchell's is mild and does not irritate my skin whatsoever. I love Mitchell's!

Great stuff
It lathers easily, is a very slick shave and also has a great scent. No need for me to try other soaps.
