a real nice low-cost stand
The West Coast Shaving stand (250) is a sturdy, well-made stand for a reasonable price. It holds two brushes and two DE razors securely. The brush holder prongs are slightly different sizes, for me it works great to handle my two different sized brush handles. The chrome finish is shiny and the steel seems strong enough. I've only had it a month, so I really can't talk about corrosion or rust at this point. There is a rubber cushion pad on the weighted base. Excellent choice for a low-cost stand.

Best Badger Duke 3
This is my second Duke series brush, and it has been a fine brush so far with both soaps and cream. I prefer the slightly stouter knot brushes 23-24mm, and the Duke 3 fits that niche perfect. I have not experienced any shedding with this Simpson brush at this time. I would recommend this brush to others that prefer the slightly larger and denser knot brush, its not a water hog and creates very good lather.

Boker is best
Just ordered this razor and I'm very impressed. Fancy and easy to use and a great close shave. I give this 4 stars instead of 5 because my ultimate and true favorite is the Boker silver steel 6/8. Now that's a razor that's pure perfection. This is a close second in my opinion, Just doesn't top my favorite. This does look really good and it's performance is exceptional. No complaints on any part of this beauty, Well worth the money spent.

Safe used razor storage
Years ago my wife's grandfather put his used razor blades through a small slot in his bathroom. They dropped between the wall space and therefore could not cut anyone accidentally. Same principle apples with the razor bank. It can be taped up when full, disposed of causing no safety hazard.
