Murray's Hair Styling Products

Since 1925, Murray's has stuck to its principles the way loyal customers have stuck to its pomades. When Mr. C.D. Murray started making hair care products to sell out of his Chicago barbershop, he figured that if he sold a good product at a fair price, people would buy it; almost 100 years later, we'd say he's been proven right. Still made according to the original recipes and often sold in nostalgic tin cans, this line of pomades, gels, and conditioners has won legions of devoted fans for its ability to tame the most difficult hair. Murray's Pomades customers have found its staying power so remarkable, they even delight in trading tips for washing it out in between uses. Just a little bit will keep you effortlessly styled for as long as you like, so you can tackle whatever life dishes out without a hair out of place.

Best Light For Side Parts

Murray's eXelento Pomade, 3.5oz I didn't want to like this at twice the price of Murray's Hair Glo, but with many products being far more expensive, I decided to try it.

This is fantastic stuff, it's one of the shiniest products I've used, giving your hair a nice healthy shine, and it's super slick. Hair Glo is also great in it's own right, but in hot weather it can get a bit 'soupy' and fall out of place. With Exelento, I've found the hold to be great, while being a great deal lighter than many other products. In hot weather it holds its own due to a lack of greasiness that's associated with Super Light & Hair Glo, and also washes out with ease, leaving a sheen for build up.

Overall, I can't recommend this enough. I stopped using Royal Crown because of the oil that appears at the ends of hairs, and I wanted something that was a step up from Hair Glo, and I can whole-heartedly say this is, in every way, the best light for side parts. Period.

Murray's Superlight Pomade, 3oz "This pomade is great for a light hold if you use just a little. If you're looking for that 1920's shine and control, use more. It's easy to remove when you shampoo. Try it if you're looking for a light touch.

Murray's Superior Pomade, 3oz.30 year user..good stuff,CHEAP..best way to use it is to apply BEFORE you shower, rub in thoroughly, then comb thru with hot water for an even distribution. .towl it dry and do what you want..can also be used after shower or on dry hair..i prefer the Murrys Australian bees wax.little bit thinner but i think it's a superior product..any nit wit that say you CANT get it out of your hair is quite possibly brain damaged..best buy for your $$$ ..3 bucks give or take..1 can will last you a year depending on use..GOOD STUFF

Murray's Superlight Pomade, 3oz.This often can be found in the "ethnic" section of your market, but it works great on my very fine, blonde hair. Great if you want a slick look, and it's waxy so it doesn't really come off on your hat or drip down your face in the Texas heat. That's the con, though, as this stuff does not want to come out! Even though it's much lighter than original Murray's, I have to wash my hair about five times to get this stuff out. Dawn dish soap does better, taking just three applications to remove this pomade. Use sparingly.

The Best ! Hands Down !

Murray's Superior Pomade, 3oz.I've used Murray's for several years and I wouldn't use anything else. I have very dense and thick hair and it's the only thing that will hold it down. It is heavyweight stuff, so if you wash your hair everyday don't use. It can hold for 2-3 days with just a little water and hair dryer to warm it up. If your hiar sucks like mine this will tame it.
