We always get a little amped up around here when Barrister & Mann issues their newest releases. This March is no exception. A new permanent offering, a seasonal offering, and a limited run that reaches into the archives should have B&M fans salivating.
Will Carius, Barrister & Mann founder and scent master, continues to innovate, explore, and inspire. His scents are always well-designed, complex, thoughtful, and on point. Never one to rest on his laurels, his products continue to improve, change, and adapt as he meets the needs of wet shavers all over the world. The March release offers a new Eau de Parfum, Romance in Middlesex County, a spring seasonal scent, Jacinthe, and a throw-back scent from the early days, Roam.
New to the Barrister & Mann line up is Romance in Middlesex County. As Will says, “RIMC (rim-see”), as we call it, was composed as a birthday present for my girlfriend, and we have decided to offer it for sale to the general public.” A great scent for spring, this aroma has a complex but not overwhelming profile. Jasmine and Apricot take the lead for a sweet, airy top note. Then notes of cardamom, coffee, tangerine, ho wood, fresh laundry, oakmoss, sandalwood, and tobacco give it a deeper, masculine base. Initially, this is being offered in a 7.5ml vial with plans to expand to a full-size.
For their 5th Anniversary, Barrister & Mann is reaching into the archives to bring you a polarizing scent from their early days. It was initially released during their first year of business as an Old West inspired scent. If your wanderlust takes you on roads less traveled, then the notes of Roam may appeal to you. The fragrance is a blend of tobacco, thyme, wood smoke, fresh grass, and damp earth. It was discontinued after a year, but a vocal cult following has been clamoring for its return. B&M is responding. For a limited time, March 1st -31st , Roam will be offered in a soap, aftershave, & Eau de Toilette. Grab it while you can.
Finally, Barrister & Mann is offering a limited spring seasonal scent with Jacinthe. This bright fragrance has floral and fruity notes to welcome in the warming days. Notes of lemon, hyacinth, pear, and tomato leaf absolute. From March 1st-April 31st, you can get Jacinthe in a soap & aftershave.
