In 1900, King C Gillette said, "We'll stop making razor blades when we can't keep making them better." For over 100 years, Gillette has been innovating shaving. And while we might not all love their disposable cartridge razors, we can't discount their contributions to men's grooming -- they are credited with helping create the DE blade. And so we offer these Gillette Silver Blue double edge razor blades.

The Gillette Silver Blue double edge razor blades are well respected and somewhat hard to find. We finally have a consistent source and are happy to add them to our blade selection. Reviewers love them - sharp but not too sharp: they give a nice smooth shave. These stainless steel blades fit all standard double edge safety razors.

Gillette blades

Smooth and clean, no tugging or pulling. I’m on the fourth usage and still no issues.

Great Blades

Great blades. Does a close cut and is smooth the whole time. I really enjoyed using these. I got these along with the Platinum blades. Both are great. I will continue to buy both and trade off once blades are done with.

Perfect with the Edwin Jagger 3One6.

I originally began using Gillette Silver Blues in my brass Karve Christopher Bradley C-Plate after finding Gillette Platinum and Feather blades made the Karve too aggressive. When I purchased an Edwin Jagger 3One6, Silver Blues quickly became my go-to for that razor. For some reason, I was tempted to try Gillette Nacet blades and discovered they were best suited to the Karve razor, although both blades work in each. Both the Silver Blues and the Nacets are manufactured in Russia (St. Petersburg). Let’s hope Putin’s Ukraine revanchist idiocy doesn’t take them both out of circulation in the West.

Smooth shave

Have bought these blades many times. Smooth and comfortable shave. Purchased the 100 pack. Many of the blade dispenser boxes were previously opened. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.
