Great boar brush

I "only" have 4 brushes but this one is my favorite. The knot is very dense and it holds a lot of lather. The handle reminds me of the material from a high quality chess set. When the brush is drying, the hairs take on a golden blonde color, which looks cool on the countertop. This brush is worth the money and I would buy it again or as a gift.

This boar knot is a great performer, whipping up dense lathers and really works the lather into the toughest beards with ease...and the handle of the brush is extremely ergonomic and has classic good looks...great value!!

Best boar brush around!

Of all the bot brushes I’ve tried, this is easily my favorite. Knot size, shape, and density are excellent while maintaining flow through, and initial tips feel is soft even without having been broken in (almost pre-broken-in) while keeping its boar backbone. Also, I have not experience shedding with this brush unlike other boar brushes I’ve used. Lastly, I love this handle, so much I had to pick up all three SOC brushes with this Taj resin handle.

Best boar brush ever

The size of the knot is perfect, the bristles were already splitting right out of the box and it looks amazing. The handle has a really good quality feel to it too. A little bit more pricey than other boars, but absolutely worth the extra.

Great Brush!

I have several silver tip badger shaving brushes but I find that I continue to fall back on my Omega Professional boar bristle paint style brush. After reading reviews I decided to try this Semogue Premium boar brush. It does cost more than Omega brushes but I have to say it is one of the most superior brushes that I have ever used and that includes the badger brushes. I do find with Omega boar bristles I do not have to go thru a break-in routine. However, because of the thickness of the knot on this brush I did follow a break-in period that I saw on YouTube regarding Semogue brushes. It did a perfect job and the brush is fantastic. I am now using it more often than my Omega brushes. This brush is definitely worth the extra dollars. I am considering buying a second one for travel. I do recommend following a break-in routine rather than just using it out of the box. Believe me, it's worth it!
