  • Traditional double edge razor blade
  • Constructed of stainless steel in St. Petersburg, Russia
  • Fits all standard DE razors

Since 1901 when King C Gillette first introduced the revolutionary idea of a disposable blade, Gillette has been making and innovating shaving. With their double edge safety razor blades, you can get back to basics -- blades so thin and strong that they were deemed impossible to forge by MIT-trained scientists when King first brought them his idea. Try the Gillette 7 O'Clock Super Stainless Double Edge Razor Blades, Green.

These blades fit all standard safety razors. They are made of stainless steel for endurance and rust resistance. They wear well in a wet environment (which is kind of the point with "wet" shaving!). There is no need to sharpen or hone this blade just dispose of in a razor bank and pop in a fresh one to keep your shave smooth and irritation-free.

Gillette offers a few different 7 o'clock blades in various colored boxes (black, blue, yellow) manufactured around the world. These 7 o'clock Super Stainless Steel blades come in a green box. Made in St. Petersburg, Russia, they are a middle of the road option in aggressiveness. Finding the right blade is a YMMV experience, so grab this box of 5 blades to give them a try.

Not impressed

They aren't terrible but not good either. Ive had 2 shaves with irritation following both shaves. I'll use them up but don't plan on buying anymore. I'll stick to my usual brand of shark

Satisfying blade

A very good blade that I am satisfied with. If I take the Personna blades as a benchmark, I'd say it comes close to it, this one being slightly sharper and slightly less smooth. YMMV.

Just right

How can I put this? These blades are like baby bear porridge: not overly sharp, not too dull. They are just right for me. They are not as sharp as a Feather, but far sharper than an Astra. They are also more durable than the Gillette Silver Blues and cheaper than the 7:00 Blacks. These blades give me a close shave with no irritation. My only complaint is that at this time WCS does not have them in bulk. FWIW, my facial hair is fine to medium and very dense.

Fine blades.

These are fine blades. Sharp and smooth. I've found none better at this low price.

7 o'clock greens

I'm newer to wet shaving, these are the first blades I tried with my Merkur 34c. Prepared my face, used preshave oil, and cremo shave creme each time. The shave was super smooth multiple times with these blades. Had an issue with my neck breaking out after use though, I'm not sure if it's my inexperience but when I switched to sharper blades my skin was less irritated.
