For the men out there who really want to smell manly, here's a good option. Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve Cologne is a fragrance that will get you noticed, and it doesn't have any real floral overtones or anything else that would make it light. It is an exhilarating scent, having some notes of wood, musk, and other traditional fragrances. This is the kind of thing you wear if you want to give off a very masculine aura. It's definitely distinguished, but it's also very cool in an old-fashioned way.

This is a combination of an aftershave and cologne. If you put some of this on and go to the office, nobody will think that you're overdoing it for the business day. If you put this on and head out to a club, nobody's going to think that you're slacking and that you didn't bother to put anything on to make yourself smell better. This makes it very versatile. It comes in a 6-ounce bottle; and since it doesn't take much at all of this product to both tone and refresh your skin after shaving or to just give yourself a more present scent, you'll find it lasts for a long time.

Terrific aftershave!

Look, this is a pure aftershave for the "Marlboro Man!' This is whay John Wayne wore in the movie, "The Green Berets." This is what Darth Vader wore in the first Star Wars. This stuff is FANTASTIC! I can only give it "4-stars", because I still reserve the coveted 5 star rating for Clubman "original" scent. However, this Special Reserve deserves a 4.8 stars to be honest! The scent is a deeper, "richer" and STRONGER "MUSK" scent than regular Pinaud "MUSK." It's definately more "potent" than regular "musk." Whereas the traditional Pinaud "musk" is a bit lighter in musk tones, this Special Reserve is heavier. Another way to look at it, "Musk" is the "light beer" or "diet Coke" of this Special Reserve formula. I guess it would be like mixing one part Clubman "traditional" to two parts "musk" and then you'd have "Special Reserve." I hope I made sense. Anyway, its classic "clubman" and should be on everyone's bathroom sink counter top, along with ALL of the Clubman Pinaud line of fragrances. I really enjoy this scent!

Love the scent, smoothing texture, and toning finish as a aftershave or a cologne (especially after bathing). Classic, very macho, and complements any cucumber or orange scents very well like Thayers Alcohol-Free Cucumber Witch Hazel or Taylor of Old Bond Street Eau de Portugal (fine hair dry treatment product). My third favorite scent period after a fine Bay Rum (like Ogallala Bay Rum Special Reserve OR any Captain Choice) and Jovan Musk for Men Aftershave Cologne - but the best value of the three.

Will never buy from West Coast again.

You took almost three weeks to ship my order. When I called, you said that you back ordered it without notifying me. Now you tell me it has been shipped a week after I received the order. No more!

Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve

Just recently ordered shave items from WCS. I always include one bottle of Special Reserve in every order to make sure I have enough on hand. This is a male fragrance not a unisex fragrance. I do agree it does go on strong but it really mellows out over time leaving a light male fragrance. It usually last 24 hours on me. I think it may be like Tabac, either you like it or you don't. I found out if I put the Special Reserve in a plastic spray container (found in and store that sells plastic bottle for travel), I use less and it goes on not as strong as if I dumped it into my hands and then splashed it on. I also use it as a body spray after showering. I would like to see Special Reserve Body Soap on a rope (10 oz.) for showering and a Special Reserve deodorant. Hey WCS, could you ask Pinaud if this would be possible if you get enough request for it? I have never had a problem yet with WCS. Brad Jordan
