  • Classic sandalwood scented cologne from Taylor of Old Bond Street
  • Understated and elegant
  • Hints of citrus, florals, and musks round out the aroma

When you've been around long enough to be from "old" Bond street then you know you have staying power. And that is definitely true of Taylor of Old Bond Street. Since 1854 when Jeremiah Taylor first began mixing botanicals for British "society", this brand has stood for quality, reliability, and understand elegance. Even if you aren't a titled English lord, you can still enjoy TOBS service and products. For a truly traditional scent, try Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Cologne.

Whenever possible natural ingredients are used to bring you this tasteful, classic fragrance in the tradition of fashionable Bond Street. A longtime favorite in perfumes and colognes, sandalwood is rich in history and character. Make it your signature scent.

This cologne opens with top notes of citrus, a lemon burst with herbal hints of lavender, thyme, and rosemary. A heart of jasmine and white cyclamen is kept from being too green and floral by subtle spice accord. Then the base of precious woods, moss, and musk comes through. An anytime scent for any occasion.

masculine, dignified and traditional aftershave

I've used a lot of different aftershaves & colognes, (Royall Lyme, Royall Vetiver, various Rogers and Gallet, Lacoste Essential, etc.), but Taylor of Old Bond Street sandalwood is my current favorite. It contains alcohol and natural oil so the skin does not feel as dried out after the alcohol evaporates. The scent is not overpowering, and not wimpy either -- a nice blend of scents that complement the sandalwood. The effect is masculine, dignified, and traditional. There is a nice dispenser system that puts out small, but adequate amounts of liquid so you don't waste any through over use.

Search is over...

At last, found a cologne that is subtle yet masculine, and does not cause skin irritation. This goes well with aftershave byTaylor of Old Bond Street. These are time honored products for discerning men. Great for sensitive skin.

Great scent

The scent is wonderful. Is exceptionally elegant, somewhat elusive, and not overpowering. I like to use the cologne in conjunction with the aftershave balm and the talcum powder. However, I had a problem with the bottle itself. There was some sticky, gummy substance that clogged the hole on the flow restrictor. During one use, the flow restrictor stuck to the top of the cab and came out of the bottle altogether. I removed it with a pair of tweezers and reinserted it. However, the hole still gets plugged. If this happens to you, I suggest using a sharp implement, such as a pair of nose hair scissors to clean out and slightly widen the hole on the flow restrictor.
