Edwin Jagger Alum Block, 54g

4 Reviews

Have you ever cut yourself while shaving? If you haven't, then you have a gift with a blade that means you should be working somewhere in the medical field or a sideshow, you've never shaved before, or you are lying. Everyone gets little nicks and cuts when they shave occasionally. Shaving also opens up the pores of the skin, and you need to close them to keep bacteria and dirt out of them. The Edwin Jagger Alum Block is a great way to do that.

Why Choose Edwin Jagger Alum?

The bar is the 'original antiseptic aftershave'; and when you dampen it and rub it on your face, it will work very much like styptic to stop bleeding as well as to close the pores. When you use it, you will also find that it gives your skin a nice and smooth feeling. If you are usually subject to razor burn, then using this bar could be a great way to eliminate that terrible feeling afterwards.

The 54g Alum is a great addition to the accessories you have for shaving. If you travel often, you might even want to pick up a second bar that you will be able to take along with you.

Size: 54g

Made in England.

Alum block

Does a fine job stopping bleeding from nicks and cuts. Definitely a need in your wet shave arsenal.

Best Alum Block out there

Great for stopping bleeding from shaving or any other nick or cut you get. Doesn't sting, doesn't dry out the skin like a styptic pencil does, and washes cleanly off afterwards. Small enough to travel with, but lasts a LONG time. My old one lasted over 4 years, and it's still going, but I dropped it and it broke into a few pieces, so I wanted a new one.

best alum block I have used

This is pure good quality alum, small size but last for a good two years or close to it. You can ffeel your skin tightened and stops small nicks. I have try other alum blocks but you get what you pay period. You can youse the alum as a deodorant it's a natural odor killer.

Don't matter

These are a rip. about the. Size of a small box of matches. The ones I have bought before were the size of a bar of soap. I thought when I opened the box they were cute little samples. I guess I should have studied up on the metric system, or they should state, (very small bar)
