Feather AC Professional Super Blade 20-Pack

10 reviews |

The "Professional Super" blades are designed for those with a heavy or coarse beard. Blade performance is equal to that of a 6/8 or 7/8 size traditional straight razor - A bit more aggressive to meet the demands of a tougher beard. In addition to a greater blade thickness the blade is also a bit wider allowing greater edge exposure. If you have a tough beard and want to delay the appearance of five o'clock shadow until well after sunset, the "Professional Super" blade is your choice.

Blade Thickness: 0.31mm Blade Exposure: 1.45mm

Blades are packed in their own injector-style dispenser for fast, easy, and safe blade installation and convenient storage.

The Feather AC blades fit ONLY the Feather AC straight-style razors.

Good Razor

If you have your technique down shaving with a "shavette" this is an excellent razor. You will find out soon if your technique is lacking though.

Good razor

I do like these razors, very sharp and glide easily. I really enjoy the "light" razors they have too in he green pack!

The best for tough beards

I've been shaving with the Artist Club (folding DC) for about eight years now. The Feather Professional Super is my absolute favorite blade to use for shavette shaving.

The Finest Disposble Blade Made - certainly the sharpest!

I own both a Feather Artist Club SS and DX Kamasori style razor (plus about a dozen straight razors in my rotation as well) so I'm fairly experience - plus I have a course beard and sensitive skin. Regarding SE blades, I've used them all. I use to use the Feather Professional because it was what most SE seemed to recommend. About 6-months ago I switched to the Feather Professional Super and haven't looked back. These blades are certainly sharp, but IMO shave most like a true straight razor, assuming a true shave ready properly honed blade. I consider their sharpness even smoother than a Feather Pro because of the end-game of efficiency which works well for my beard and skin combo - assuming one uses the razor with some skill and care. For the Feather SS and DX these blades really behave very close to a properly maintained straight blade. The key to a great SE shave in IMHO is building a lather for maximum glide (more water) and not so much thickness. Keep the Feather Artist Club or Kai razor sufficiently wet and rinsed. A thick lather that is too dry isn't your friend with these types of SE razors- thinner is better!
