You might have heard of a working vacation, but what about a vacation that launches a business? That's what happened when Joseph Abbatangelo and his uncle Michael Iuorio undertook a journey to Italy to hunt down alum sticks for Joseph's father-in-law. That discovery led to a revolutionary introduction to the joys of wet shaving. The hobby-turned-passion-turned-business is RazoRock. They are providing Italian style grooming requisites to rabid wet-shavers around the world. Try out RazoRock American Barber Shaving Cream Soap.
This tallow-based soap is loaded with goodness. First, the tallow helps to create a cushion-y lather to protect your face from the blade. Then the lanolin and coconut oil help with glide and moisturizing. The result is an exceptional shave and post-shave feel. This is a soft-style Italian soap made to be lathered with a traditional shaving brush. It comes in a black tub with room to load your brush.
This soap also contains mud, yep, Fuller's Earth to be specific. It is sourced from an ancient thermal sulfur spring where Italians go on holiday to relax and rejuvenate. The skin benefits seem to speak for themselves. Reviewer MM said, "Slicker than snot, smooth as silk, protective as a mother bear. Smells clean but not intrusive. I honestly don't know what else you could wish for in a shave soap. . ." And the scent is a complex aroma of bergamot, anise, pineapple in the top. Middle notes of jasmine and violet, and then a strong base of amber, musk, sandalwood, vanilla, hay, tonka bean, patchouli, and thuja. Enjoy!
