You might have heard of a working vacation, but what about a vacation that launches a business? That's what happened when Joseph Abbatangelo and his uncle Michael Iuorio took a holiday in Italy and discovered the joys of wet-shaving. The hobby-turned-passion-turned-business is RazoRock. They are providing Italian style grooming requisites to rabid wet-shavers around the world. Try Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore Shaving Soap.
This is a very soft type of traditional Italian shaving soap: a croap (a firm cream or soft soap). As such, it loads easily on a damp shaving brush. Then face/palm/mug - whatever your preference - you are sure to whip up a frothy lather. This soap contains coconut oil and lanolin for moisture, protection, and glide. You also get the cooling feel of menthol and eucalyptus. The exceptional grooming requisite is loaded in a traditional heavy glass jar with a "kraft label". (These labels are not water proof so they will look worn over time.) You might just want to leave the lid off altogether as they soap should dry between uses.
This complex, cologne-like fragrance is inspired by Santa Maria Novella's Tabacco Toscano Colonia. Imagine lounging in the sun-baked streets of a Florentine neighborhood with a cigar as the scents swirl around you. Tuscan tobacco gives way to hints of amber and vanilla and then a background of eucalyptus and menthol provide a cool breeze.
Per the manufacturer: please be aware that the soap is very soft and can melt and separate if left inside a hot postal truck or hot mailbox for an extended period of time. For those living in extremely hot climates like the southern USA (in the summer), it's probably best to order this product in the cooler months of the year where normal outside temperatures are below 80F.
