Great start to safety razoe shaving

After 40 years of cartridge shaving, I decided to give safety razors a try. I went with the Merkur 34C and the Omega Brush options and could not be happier. It's been a little over two weeks now with no nicks at all, and the best shaves of my life. I've tried 3 different blades to see if any of them are really better for me, so far Astral and Feather worked nice.

Great set for the money

This is not a luxury set. This a great set. What I mean is that a luxury quality set is gonna cost you significantly more becuase of exotic handle materials and such that honestly aren't worth the money if you are trying to get into weshaving like myself. For a great everyday set that will last a long time I strongly sugggest this set. It doesn't have all the fancy bells and whistles but they work the same... think Chevy vs GMC... they are the basically same truck, but the GMC is just trimmed out nicer inside and out. This is a solid set that I look forward to learning to use better than I do now and use for years to come.
