  • Traditional Double-edge safety razor
  • CNC machined, bronze
  • Complete razor

Timeless Razors was started by a father & 4 sons. Machinists by trade, they saw the need for razors that would last for generations, unlike the cheap, low end and plastic disposables on the market today. The double-edge razor that they created met with rave reviews from wet shavers, as it gives a fantastic shave - time after time.

From Timeless Razor: The Timeless Razor Bronze Double Edge Safety Razor is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT razor than any of our other versions.  This is a fully CNC milled Safety Razor made from solid C954 Bronze.  This process of manufacturing is different than the wire E.D.M. cut stainless steel and titanium Timeless Razors.

The 0.78mm blade gap is aggressive enough to the give you a BBS shave, without irritating your skin. This is an open comb razor and comes with the handle, base, and end cap. The handle has a spiral texture to enhance the form and function.

And the lovely bronze is the perfect material for an heirloom razor. This piece will develop a nice patina over time. This is the one to pass on your son. . . or grandson.

Not for me but perfect for some: Update.

It did not sit well for me to have a razor in my cupboard that I could not use properly. I did not want to be defeated. So 6 weeks or so after writing the review below, I made it my mission to get a great shave out of it. I have to say, the lessons I learned from the Timeless have allowed me to have a better shave using my other razors. What I now do, is "ride the cap". I took my starting point for adjusting the angle, not from the perpendicular position, but from totally flat, with the cap of the razor against my skin. I then slowly and carefully pivoted it until I could feel the blade begin to bite and I used it at that angle; the flattest angle possible, like with a shavette. With this method I find a lot of the weight is transferred "above" the cutting surface. I also hold the razor very near the top of the handle, to mitigate the weight. Think of it a bit like a lawn-mower, with the cap being a sort of "suspension" supporting the blade and the cutting edge angle freely adjustable without taking the razor off the skin. So rather than using the open comb or flat bar as the point of protection, I reversed the technique so that the cap is the main safety feature. I am certain many people have figured this out before me, but I got there in the end. :-) I now take great pleasure in using this razor.

Not for me, perfect for some

This is a beautifully made piece of kit, well worth the money being asked, but it didn’t work for me. I tried and tried to get used to this, but the weight and aggression resulted in constant nicks and cuts. I have never experienced a razor like this. I have about 12 vintage and modern razors and they all give me easy, pain-free shaves. I was determined not let it it beat me, until SWMBO said, “What are you doing? Just let it go!” So I did.
