Proraso has been a best seller in Italy for decades. We've been stocking it at West Coast Shaving for years and it has sold just as well for us across the pond. This is the new formulation, however it still contains coconut oil, eucalyptus and menthol, the winning combination so beloved. From all reports and our own investigation, Proraso has winner with this reformulation. Gone is the slightly medicinal scent some found in the previous version. The menthol cooling affect everyone loves is still there. And best yet, it's even slicker than before, which was already a great performer. Some fear reformulations, but this one should be celebrated.

Great Shaving Cream

I am relatively new to D.E. & Straight shaving so I am still experimenting with different products. This is my second shaving cream; I did not realize there could be such a difference!! The first was a tub of sandalwood scented AoS. I was indifferent with that product; neither loving nor hating it (except the price; I did not like that). After using Proraso I now know that I can get a far superior product for much less money. I have a very thick, coarse beard with somewhat sensitive skin. Using the Proraso Menthol & Eucalyptus gives me the ability to get a clean, close shave with much less skin irritation.

Second to none

It is the absolute best shaving cream I've ever used lathers well by hand or with a brush. The Italians know what they're doing.

Just get it

First time user of old-fashioned shaving products. Proraso is easy to use and gets the job done. Easy to whip up, works perfectly, and smells great. If you're thinking about getting it, do it. I have two or three other creams that are much more expensive that don't whip up as well, don't provide as good a shave, and have hardened in less than a month.
