Taylor of Old Bond Street is an iconic wet shaving brand. Founded in the early 19th century, they have been a family-owned business since that time. Residing on famous Jermyn Street in St. James, they continue to offer their services to London’s most discerning customers.


This shaving cream is a treat. Made with cedarwood oil, it is a soft, easily lathered lubricant for your shaving pleasure. It comes in a wide mouth tub for easy loading.


The scent is more than just a smoky tobacco. Instead, it takes the light aroma of the leaf before drying. With a top note of bergamot & grapefruit, you have a light citrus zest. Then notes of tobacco bloom. Underneath are hints of coffee & leather.

I want it all!

Performance is the same as always with TOBS = √. Unbelievable scent = √. Value = √. The scent is amazing! Tobacco Leaf smells simply delightful and delicious, it's a soft scent (not weak) that is alluring and almost captivating. If you like tobacco scents well then, yeah, you should enjoy this... If you don't like tobacco scented soaps you'll probably like this one because it's blended incredibly well and the tobacco isn't nauseating, it's done incredibly well. Sometimes you gotta go to the old guys to get the good stuff ----< this is one of those times! Add this to your cart, check the tracking number six times a day, sniff, shave, and enjoy! A word of caution to consider: you might as well buy this now and get it out of the way, because if not now, you'll buy it later. You're a wet shaver... and you have an obligation, no, duty to try all of the TOBS scents, so it might as well be now and save yourself the wait later on. *I don't get paid by WCS for these reviews... but I probably should be*

Nice addition to the TOBS lineup

A sweet (but not floral) Tobacco scent with the usual, reliable TOBS performance. Also, it didn't irritate my finicky face like the TOBS sandalwood and almond creams do, so for those of you with sensitive skin this totally may work for you. Would pair well with Alt-Innsbruck aftershave, I think!

New favorite shave cream

I've been using D.R. Harris shave cream for years - love the Windsor scent. But recently the price of the item has gone through the roof. After watching a WCS video review/sample shave with new TOBS Tobacco leaf product, I thought I'd give it a try. Wow! Beyond my expectations. The scent is strong and appealing (to me) while you're shaving - and doesn't linger very strongly when you're done. I put a VERY small finger full of the cream in my shaving bowl and with less than a minute of swirling with my wet brush, there's plenty of lather. The product provides a very nice cushion, close shave and overall excellent experience.

New favorite

What a pleasant surprise. I usually use TOBS Sandalwood shave cream and like it very well. Glad I tried TOBS Tobacco Leaf shave cream. It is, IMO, a quantum level better. The razor seems to glide through whiskers with minimal resistance. I love the aroma. TOBS has hit a home run with this product. It will be my go-to cream. I hope TOBS will offer a cologne or after shave in this scent. YMMV
