This small family-owned brand is bringing back nostalgic scents from decades past. Dennis and his family are the hands behind Spearhead Shaving. As an avid hobbyist, Dennis fell in love with classic shaving and now he is committed to bring excellent products like this shaving soap to others like him.
The scents developed by Spearhead are resurrections of a brand from the 30s-40s called Seaforth! As a men's grooming company, Seaforth! was a competitor of Shulton (famous for the Old Spice scent). They took their name from an old Highland regiment and capitalized on the growing popularity of men’s grooming. As their reach grew, Seaforth wanted a more up-market product range: enter Black Watch. Also named after a highland regiment, this aroma and its related products had a distribution limited to more exclusive outlets. In collaboration with Shawn Maher of Maher Olfactive, Spearhead has resurrected this scent of bergamot, jasmine, plum, leather, oakmoss, incense, & sandalwood.
Black Watch shaving soap was a high end release from Seaforth Shaving! so Dennis also wanted to set his product apart as well. This shaving soap has its own base, dubbed “Highland”. It is high in oleic acid which gives it a great, smooth glide. It is exceptionally slick with an improved post-shave face feel.
