Lather friendly and animal friendly, this synthetic shaving brush from Omega blurs the lines between natural hair and artificial fibers. Resistance, elasticity, and softness, as well as the capability of generating a rich and luxurious lather, distinguish this brush as the best and most effective alternative to a traditional shaving brush. Combined with a dark brown varnished wooden handle, this non-gaudy and classic designed brush screams craftsmanship and rustic beauty. Much like the Omega 146229 brush in its handle design, this brush however has a wooden ridge near the top of the handle preventing potential slips out of hand whilst shaving.

Great Synthetic Brush

This Omega Hi-Brush has worked great for me. Easy to load whether it be a croap or hard soap. For me, it has enough backbone and stiffness that it feels super against my face. I have one other brush, which is badger, and I have been using both to see which is my favorite. So far, I am leaning toward the Omega Hi-Brush. It dries quickly after use (though in fairness, Denver is a very dry climate) and is easy to clean. I would recommend this brush to folks who prefer synthetics (for whatever reason) who want a slightly stiffer brush. I am a relatively new de shaver (about 2 1/2 months), so who knows if my opinion changes over time, but, at present, I am really pleased with this purchase.

Solid value

I use this brush in my shower and it functions very well for the environment. I leave it in the shower between uses. The synthetic fibers tend to dry out satisfactorily. Whereas, my natural fiber brush tends to hold on to the water and doesn't dry between use if left in the shower. Also the synthetic fibers are realistic enough that I am not wishing for my natural fiber brush either. Very happy with this purchase.

Smooth

Being my first time using a brush I was worried I might have chosen one that felt to rough but after using it I was happy with my purchase, very smooth.

Good Brush

This is my first brush so maybe i don't know what I'm talking about, but this brush works great for me. I use it with creams, have never tried it with soap. It is plenty stiff to work cream into a lather, but felt soft on the skin.

Nice but could be better

Have tried the brush about 4 times so far and works good but the bristles could be more stern. It lathers the shave cream well but seems to lack the deeper rubbing in of the cream in my pores. Using my fingers seem to do it better than the brush. Maybe the rounded brush points are too rounded and and should be a little more pointed for penetrating the pores. So I rapped a rubber band around the bristle stock to make them tighter and that seems to help a lot. Hope this helps other in deciding their purchase,
