We got 'em: Yaqi Brushes!

Check out this red marble handle with a knot in Tuxedo (black synthetic hair with white tips). Synthetic hair has put Yaqi on the map. It is great, easy to maintain.

This handle has flared bottom for a good base when standing upright. The swirled red and black gives a marbled effect. The hair is packed tightly into the handle. Note: the marbling will vary on each product so no two brushes are exactly the same.

  • Brush knot diameter: 24MM (+/-1mm)
  • Loft size: 60mm (+/-1mm)
  • Handle height: 55mm (+/-1mm)

Great brush

This brush was recommended as a good one with which to start as they work well and are relatively inexpensive. Although I can't compare it with others since this is my first, it indeed works well, looks good and should become a great travel brush once I decide to purchase one made from badger hair. As always, if you have questions, call West Coast Shaving. Their customer service department is superb. Overall, I'm very, very pleased with the choice!

Style and Function!

I bought one along with a few classic products and this brush came packaged nicely. What is even nicer is the heft and quality of the bristle.. this is a high quality brush. I have a nice natural bristle that my Dad bought me many years ago before the wall came down between east and west Germany.. I wanted a nice synthetic and this Yaqui is a great one. I see that some in the wet shaving world collect many brushes. I am happy with this one--but hey, who knows, I may need a blue acrylic soon! I enjoy West Coast Shaving--it is a very nice company.. just cannot understand why my products ship from Maryland?

Awesome Brush!

This is a great brush that lathers nicely and has just the right size knot for me. Nice and soft on my face but still has enough backbone to work up a lather quickly. Love the handle color. Nice price too. I highly recommend.

I love my new brush

My brush arrived... and alas! it was broken. Something during shipping. The kind folks at WCS sent another one immediately, and it arrived safe and sound. I love my new brush. As a relatively new wet shaver, I thought I'd try brush and bowl. My shave is closer than ever. And as one concerned about plastics in our environment, I am happy to forego those squeeze tubes.
