Great product!

I've tried at least a dozen or more brands and Tabac works for me the best. It effortlessly builds a nice lather, allows my razor to glide smoothly, and I find the scent refreshing.

Okay scent. Lasts forever. Yet, I am not a fan. The lather is a bit thin. It takes some effort to create it. Reasonably slick.

Meets all my needs for a shave soap

I've used Tabac shave soap for two or three years now, after trying several soaps. As with other reviewers, at first Tabac's scent put me off. It wasn't quite "tobacco" and struck me as being like an old lady's expensive bath soap, clammy. But then, after trying several soaps with "fresh" scents, I smelled a package of Tabac at a local pharmacy and the smell hit me a whole new way, warm and spicy. That impression has continued to grow on me. More importantly, many other soaps have burned my skin and Tabac, reliably, doesn't. It also, reliably, generates a thick, slick, lather. I like soaps because they last and having found a good one, I intend to stay with it. Also, at least at West Coast Shaving, I can get it at a reasonable price, reasonably fast.
