Kent Beard and Moustache Comb: As your ‘stache begins to take shape, it’s important that you “train” the hairs into the direction you’d like them to go, especially if the end result is an epic handlebar mustache, or if you don’t like accidental remnants of your last meal greeting your olfaction. At only 2.90 inches long, this handy comb - produced by the infamous Kent brand - is the ultimate in convenient facial hair grooming. Each rounded tooth is hand-sanded, giving you a value comb that is convenient, luxurious, and practical for the refined moustached gentleman.

Big Red Beard Comb No. 7, Walnut: As if having a beard didn’t already make you enough of a man, completely handcrafting your own comb out of wood just takes it to the next level. The Canadian artisan behind Big Red beard combs did just that, taking his background in wooden furniture crafting to produce an exemplary comb for the rugged, bearded brethren. Completely handmade, this light - yet durable - comb features a maple interior lined in walnut, yielding a bespoke “wooden pinstripe” effect.

Firehouse Mustache Wax, Wacky Tacky: One of our all time favorites here at WCS, the Wacky Tacky mustache wax is a must for those achieving a defined ‘stache ‘do. A defined “firm hold”, this wax is tough stuff but, as a property of wax, can be easily restyled. This is a saving grace for those whose mustache is frequently disrupted by the day’s activities, namely our hardworking firefighters, policemen, and riding enthusiasts. With a naturally subtle, “warm” scent that fades, this is the perfect pairing to a tight ‘stache’.

Beardbrand Tea Tree Beard Oil and Beard Wash: A bestseller with us, Beardbrand products have been dedicated to producing some of the finest beard products our unshaven brothers could ever want. As the beard grows, especially in the ever-colder days, the skin underneath can become very dry and irritated, leading to flaking skin and dry, wiry facial hair. Jojoba, grapeseed, castor, and almond oils help to condition not just the beard hair but, more importantly, the skin underneath to remain hydrated, healthy, and ready to take on the elements. The accompanying beard wash gently removes dead skin, but is chalk full of Vitamin E, aloe, and other extracts to keep the skin hydrated. Tea tree, peppermint, and vanilla extracts give this a warm, yet revitalizing scent, perfect to get you out of bed in the morning!

Grave Before Shave, Bourbon Beard Oil and Beard Balm: Fisticuff’s “Grave Before Shave” is an immediate choice for many at our retail location. Their beard oil is formulated with tea tree, apricot, jojoba, and sweet almond oils, as well as aloe vera and vitamin E for an oil that packs a powerful punch. Their “medium” hold beard balm contains Vitamin E and coconut oil to keep the wiry beard at bay. Scented with bourbon and vanilla, this is a warm and inviting scent that will be perfect to catch whiffs of throughout the day!

Abraham’s Beard Oil, Balm, and Conditioner, Barbershop: We feel like the Abraham’s beard products are quite underrated. Their ingredient list rivals that of the bearded top dogs, and their barbershop scent is a crisp blend of bergamot, basil, oakmoss, and white patchouli. We’ve never seen anyone turn down this scent, and for good reason. Their oil hydrates the skin, and their somewhat heavier-holding balms helps to tame the wildest of beards. If you’re looking for an all-in-one, their leave in conditioner offers next level hydration and smoothest, and is even great as a post shave treatment!

Gold Dachs Bartwische Hungarian Moustache Wax: Gold Dachs has been ahead of the curve with men’s grooming for well over a century. It is said that their Bartwische Moustache Wax was the styling aid of choice for eclectic artist Salvador Dali. And if there’s one thing we know, it’s that it takes a STRONG tool to hold up that kind of ‘do. There isn’t much product in this, solely for the purpose that so much less product is needed. There also is not much added scent, so if you’re looking for a well-established wax that gets the job done with no added frills, this will be your best friend.

Cowboy Comb Conditioning Beard Wash: Our most popular beardwash, the Cowboy Comb conditioning wash is an excellent mild soap for cleaning out the skin and facial hair, while added goat’s milk is incredibly effective at moisturizing the skin. This little bar is not to be overlooked: word is, it lasts customers several months of daily (often twice daily) usage. With no added scent, you can pick an oil/balm of your choice with no worry of scent confliction.

Merkur Mustache and Brow Razor: Just because you’re letting the facial locks let loose, doesn’t mean you should neglect a grooming regime. This is where the Merkur mustache and brow razor comes in handle. The “larger” end is still quite small, and is great for catching the hairs of the upper mustache which, as they grow out, look quite unruly and can be a huge annoyance to the nose. The smaller end is great for keeping the eyebrows shaped up. You don’t want to start the trend for the next ridiculous eyebrow style, but it’s nice to remind yourself you’ve got two brows. Trust us, you should keep it that way.

Kent 113 Pocket Comb, Fine: As your facial hair growth becomes more pronounced, you’ll need more than Kent’s mustache comb to keep everything in check. Though not listed as a “beard comb”, we’ve found this to be very popular for someone with a few weeks’ facial hair growth, looking to keep things tidy and comb through their favorite beard balm.

Parker SR1 Stainless Steel Shavette: As I said above, growing out facial hair doesn’t allow for complete neglect. Getting rid of stray hairs on the upper cheek and neck will provide you with a much cleaner look, even with a full beard. A traditional straight razor gives you a clear view of the blade edge, and can help you keep a very neat lineup. However, with this comes dedicated upkeep and preparation before each shave and, often, a significant upfront cost. In comes the “shavette”, the economical, replaceable-blade brethren of the straight razor. Simply snap your favorite DE blade lengthwise (while still in the paper coating!), and insert the half blade into the razor.

Feather Artist Club SS Razor, Black: The Feather name is synonymous with quality and sharpness, with commercial, medical, and consumer products all included. The wet shaving enthusiast looks for quality of quantity and, if you’ve decided to let your facial hair grow, you still have options! The Feather Artist Club series is a stainless steel “shavette”, with a special injector system requiring a longer, proprietary blade and allowing for easy and safe disposal when moving on to the next blade.

Feather AC Professional Blades: One of several “AC” blades, the Professional model is a middle-of-the-road, one-sided blade. These blades are about 2 inches wide, and are quite resilient, allowing most users up to 20 comfortable shaves before needing replacement. Since the blades are very thick, and have very little blade exposure, the resulting shave is very smooth and tug-free!

Movember Curation Reviews
Hungarian Beard Wax
Gold Dachs Bartwichse Hungarian Moustache Wax Best product my husband has ever used on his moustache. It is the only wax product that I (his wife) like the smell of! Thanks for a great product!
THe tacky wax my new handlebar needed
Firehouse Moustache Wax, Wacky Tacky I grew a beard and handlebar at the request of my wife. at first I tried a regular mustache was without much control hold. As the whiskers got longer and I needed a stronger wax I tried Wacky-Tacky and boy I am glad I made the switch. while a little difficult to get easy coverage after a few seconds of rubbing the wax takes hold and holds the curl perfectly. It does seem to get firm but the firmness wanes over a few hours but the curl is still there. I highly recommend this product for daily use every morning and perhaps in the evening before hitting the brewry!
Great wax with a solid hold
Firehouse Moustache Wax, Wacky Tacky I have some fairly thick unruly mustache hairs that have been difficult to tame with other waxes. This wax has a great hold that lasts throughout the day. The dark color of the wax is also great against the dark color of my hair for those times when I don't perfectly draw it through my hairs. I will be purchasing more from this brand.
Good stuff
Firehouse Moustache Wax, Wacky Tacky This stuff is good and sticky and styles well but the hold is about one to two hours. I liked it.
