- Traditional straight razor from Boker
- Extra hollow grind on carbon steel blade
- Scales of Bocote wood
Ready to go truly old-school? Ready to shave like your ancestors? Ready for Boker? This gorgeous straight razor is all you're looking for in "cut-throat" shaving. This "The Celebrated" razor is a re-issue of a Boker straight from 1906. This popular tool is functional and beautiful.
The practical 5/8" blade provides easy handling, even for the less experienced user. It is great for general beard removal. It has extraordinary edge retention with a special "extra hollow" grind. It "sings" with its carbon steel. Make sure to keep it dry to prevent rust.
The scales are made with bocote wood. This gorgeous wood has a yellowish brown base with dramatic dark brown to black stripes. The color tends to darken with age, so each will be unique. It features historical etching and authentic Boker stamp on the blade. Completely made by hand in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen, Germany. Packaged in historical packaging with a certificate of authenticity.
