Fun stuff!

I've been using shave creme for years so I'm learning shave soap. Thankfully i have the right brush for it.. First thing i notice is the scent. Spicy, fruity - FUN! Doesn't overwhelm, but just enough to enjoy. I am learning to whip up a pretty good lather. Feels good on the face. So far so good. I recommend anybody try it, especially if a fun shave ill make your day.

It’s Fiesta Time!!!

I bought the tandem Captain’s Choice Island Time Shaving Soap and Aftershave Splash and first used it at my daughter’s wedding. Contrary to what the product review says, it doesn’t smell citrusy but the first note to hit me when I sniffed the opened jar was :Pineapple with a hint of coconut, almost like PINA Colada cocktail. The soap whips up a nice decent lather although it uses up more water than what I normally use on my Hill Springs shaving soap. I love this shaving soap because it really gives me a really close shave you could not get from a canned goop. The fruity PINA colada smell was something new to me. The Island Time Aftershave did have a toned down Pina Colada smell, wasn’t overpowering and it quickly toned down my skin with no “Kevin” like sting! My wife thought I snuck downstairs to the hotel bar and drank a couple of cocktails...( no, that was not the case) Overall, if you want something different, to wake you up to something new, I highly recommend these products.
