Edwin Jagger Best Badger Shaving Brush, Medium, Black

12 Reviews

We've been recommending the Edwin Jagger Best badger shaving brushes as one of the best values in shaving brushes for years. They offer an exceptional value due to high quality materials and workmanship and an unbeatable price. This is the new 2012 edition with enhanced handle. This brush is handmade in Sheffield using premium polyester for the handle, which is polished and very comfortable. The knot is handmade with best badger for a firmer feel, which is great for those looking for a little more exfoliation or for men with a thicker beard.

Edwin Jagger best badger brush

I've been using this brush since I first started wet shaving, about 12 years ago. This mostly what I have used. It has never shed, it's comfortable, it lathers well, bowl or face, soap, croap or cream, it has always kept its shape, and none of the letters have faded. These are things I like in a shaving brush.

Best Quality for Money

Of all my brushes, I prefer to use this one the most. I actually don't like using silver tip because they are too soft on my face and I have a hard time building lather with them, also there's the cost! I have been using this brush for almost 5 years and it is still holding up well. Great texture, excellent lathers, great value.

Bruch bristle loss

Had the brush for about 10 months when it started shedding. Called West Coast and they gave me some treatments to try. After one month still shedding. Called company and they replaced with same brush as less than one year old. Will try new brush. Lathers good. Will see!!

Only brush needed.

I had most brushes from Art of Shaving however this one is better in every way. Takes very little work to stir up a nice whip of soap. I guess you could spend more but not sure it would justify it.
