Edwin Jagger black chrome3 D diamond

Awesome quality, fantastic looking, great grip and balance, awesome shaver. I also have a Merkur 34c and I think I like this a little bit more. I also like West Coast Shaving. Thankful for the internet and companies like WCS. I wouldn't have access to information and great products like they carry otherwise.

Heavy vs Light?

Decided to try this razor after shaving with the Merkur 15C (open comb) for several years. First thing I noticed is that the EJ is much heavier overall with a heavier head and thicker handle. Still, it is well balanced and the knurled handle looks and feels fantastic. It took me a few shaves to get the angle right and now I get an excellent smooth shave. It isn't as forgiving as the Merkur and not as nimble around the nose and sides of my mouth. I prefer Red Personna blades to the Feather blades that come with it.

Nice knurled handle.

This razor has been my entry into wet-shaving. I really like the diamond-knurled handle and the contrast between the black and chrome. When it comes to performance, I am ready to try a razor that is more aggressive than this one. I believe that it is good for a quick shave with a medium razor when you are in a hurry.

Great double edge razor

This is an expensive razor, but the finishing and detailing are really special. And it carries the smooth and mid shaving that are EJ pattern.
