Great Value - Very Good Performance

I have been wet shaving for over 20 years but only for about a year have I been shaving with DE razors and blades. It took me several months to find the right DE blades that work for my skin, beard, technique, and razor. My skin is sensitive and my facial hair a medium coarseness/thickness and this blade does a good job of giving me a close shave with ease and does not irritate my skin at all. The blade reaches it's nirvana stage right out of the paper sleeve and gives me about 4 - 5 nice shaves before it becomes a beast and wants to tug instead of cut my beard. There are better blades than this one but the Lord Platinum is a good lower priced choice and I will keep a box of 5 on hand for when my preferred blades are on order. This blade is equally comparable to the Lord Super Chrome blade and I would definitely recommend that you give this blade a try if your on a budget and want a decent DE blade.

Good Value at Price point

I'm pleasantly surprised with these blades. My face tends to be overly sensitive and I get razor bumps fairly easily. The issue is compounded with coarse facial hair. These blades seem to be smooth enough to minimize the burn I get with sharper blades while still being sharp enough not to tug. I actually get more shaves per blade, on average, than any other brand. For those that have already found their favorite blade it is unlikely you will switch to these; however, for those that are still searching or aren't committed to any one brand these are certainly worth a try. All in all, I found these to be a decent value and comfortable product.

Great for sensitive skin

Found these to be perfect for me. I cut fairly easily in some areas on my face and this is the only blade I've found that works perfectly for me. Close shave, no cuts or irritation, and cheap to boot! All I really use anymore.

Great blades

I've tried a few different blades in my safety razor and this one is my favorite so far. Good price, good sharpness and still provides a close, but safe shave. I used one brand that was far too easy to cut myself with. I may experiment with other brands but I'm very happy with Lord's.

Unexpectedly good blade

Let me start out by stating that I HATE Shark blades. I got 13 of them free with razors or sample packs and after trying two, gave the rest away. To my face and style of saving they feel rough and give me a poor shave even when new. (I know some people love them YMMV). With that disclaimer aside, I approached their stable-mate the "New Lord Platinum" that I also received in the same sample pack with a very jaundiced eye. i was prepared to try them for a shave or two and dislike them from the get go. I was amazed on how well they worked for me. They aren't in my top 5, but they are in the top 10. I got 5 excellent shaves out of each blade in a Parker 65C. I will try then in my Ikon slant next.
