Mammoth Soap founder Ben began soapmaking in 2014 with bath soaps. But he wanted to do more - not just with his soapmaking with his desire to address the mammoth issue of humans trafficking. Together with his wife (a flight attendant trained to spot potential victims), Ben started Mammoth Soaps. This after shave balm is a unique product developed with Oleo Soapworks. Ben wanted a product that had some of the consistency of a splash (thinner than a traditional balm) but still had the soothing effect of a cream or lotion. Enter his balm.

Mood Indigo is a riff on a great Duke Ellington tune that's been covered by all the greats. Singing the blues doesn't mean giving way to despair. On the contrary, Blues music gives voice to trouble in order to find a way out of despair, to be less alone, to be more hopeful. This scent recreates the feeling of leaving a blues club late at night. Earthy vetiver greets your nose as you step outside and raise your eyes to the night sky. A hint of rum lingers on your breath and a hint of blueberry lingers in the air. This isn't a dirty, smoky scent - just smooth and warm.
