Founder Ben and his wife had been making bath soap for years but when they decided to branch out into shaving soap, they wanted to do more. Mammoth Soaps has dubbed their new base, Tusk. This is a beef-tallow based recipe with duck fat, glycerin, babassu oil, argan oil, and more. It whips up a dense lather to protect your face from the blade and leave your post-shave skin soft and supple.

Singing the blues isn't an exercise in fruitless lament. Embracing the blues is, instead, about release, unity, and catharsis. Mood Indigo is inspired by a Duke Ellington hit that has been riffed by all the greats. Ben was inspired to create a scent of leaving a blues' club at night. Notes of black pepper, oud, vetiver speak of a velvety balck night. Blueberry & rum reflect the drink still on your breath as you exhale. Ahhhh.
